Island Travel

The beautiful island Trinidad should definitely be on your list of places to visit. If you are a person who loves to party, eat great food, experience fantastic original music, and be around a wide variety of ethnicities then is the place for you. Trinidad is the sister island of Tobago but what sets Trinidad apart from that island along with others is their history and their culture. Trinidad started off as a spanish colony and experienced some change in leaders for a while until becoming independent with Tobago in 1962. Even with their independence they still keep up the legacy of their past owners through food, music, and carnivals. They also still have a lot of their old architecture which adds to the historic beauty of the island. Some amazing sights to see while there is the old mansion “Magnificent Seven”, the citizens there are really passionate about preserving their history. The citizens are also passionate about their music as well, while visiting there you are sure to hear plenty of original music created by the artist. For certain festivals and special carnivals they work on their music year round to present it. They take things such as carnivals very seriously as that is the biggest street party on earth and lots of music, fashion, and food is showcased for prizes. Being on the island you are sure to try things you’ve never thought about like for example shark. Trinidad of course has beautiful beaches and for certain beaches like Maracas Bay you get to enjoy some delicious shark between two fried pieces of dough while soaking up the sun. If you are an adventurous person like myself you’d also enjoy touring a swamp and touring a bird sanctuary getting the chance to see multiple specimens of birds. Overall visiting Trinidad should definitely be a must on your to do list as you will have an experience like no other.

I think a few pictures and a grammar check would help elevate this post further. I'd love to see some pictures of their carnivals, people, and the food. Can't wait to read more!
